When you adopt, you’re not just giving a deserving animal a home. You’re also reducing the demand for industrial-scale breeding operations that put profit before animal welfare.

Meet A Few Of Our Beautiful Rescue Cats♥️🐾

FLOWER

Sweet little FLOWER (named after the skunk in Bambi), is a very special rescue. This Beautiful Boy was saved from a kind woman, who saw him at 4 weeks of age or younger be thrown out of a moving car’s (filled with cruel Hispanic Men) window near a freeway overpass💔 Olesen Safe Haven was called to the animal abuse scene. Flower was terrified of hands and people in general from the horrific abuse he endured by evil people. He was sick, dehydrated, malnourished, exhausted and terrified. At his tender age he should have been with his Mother, safe and still nursing, as loved and cared for kittens do until at least 12 wks of age. I have no clue what happened to his siblings or mother sadly. All abandoned/ homeless/feral cats have experienced so much trauma on the streets. Flower became a permanent part of the OLESEN SAFE HAVEN Sanctuary as he is special needs. Thank you so much to all who generously donate to our rescue & sanctuary. Because of you, we are able to provide a stable and safe loving home to so many deserving abandoned cats (animals) including sweet Flower♥️

SMOKY

Smoky was rescued at approximately 1 year of age. He is a very sweet boy. He was from a litter of lost feral kittens, whose old homeless 12+ year old Mother was found unconscious from “Eclampsia,” a serious life threatening medical emergency some cats unfortunately experience from having life long, back to back kittens every 60 days, though out their lifetime. At the time we found Smokys Mom, we didn't know where her small kittens were. Over the course of the year we slowly started finding them, 1 by one. Smoky was humanely trapped and had deep sores all over his back, tail etc. He also was very sick, malnourished, dehydrated and suffers a disability in his hind legs called “swimmers syndrome” This sweet boy is a brave survivor and deserves so much Love. Hes darling. Very shy yet loving to the core. Smoky is another permanent and loved member of the OLESEN SAFE HAVEN RESCUE & SANCTUARY ♥️🐾 Thank you to all who generously donate to our rescue & sanctuary. Because of you, we are able to provide a stable and safe loving home to so many deserving abandoned cats (animals) including Sweet Smoky♥️
